Terms of Use

Rules for using Amigurumi Magic patterns, tutorials, images, links, forms, and other site content.

Effective date: October 15, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to AmigurumiMagic.com and the temporary Hostinger address used while the site is prepared. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

About Amigurumi Magic

Amigurumi Magic publishes crochet patterns, tutorials, project inspiration, and related editorial content using standard United States crochet terminology unless a page states otherwise. Nina Lojank is the site’s disclosed fictional pen-name persona and editorial voice, not a real person or a professional certification.

Educational information

Site content is provided for general informational, creative, and educational purposes. Crochet results vary with yarn, hook, tension, stuffing, substitutions, and individual technique. Read a full pattern before starting, make a gauge or material test when appropriate, and use your own judgment. Report suspected instruction errors through the Contact page.

Pattern and content license

Unless a page provides different written permissions, the patterns, written instructions, charts, illustrations, photographs, branding, downloads, and page design are owned by or licensed to Amigurumi Magic and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may print or save a reasonable copy of a pattern for your own personal, noncommercial use. You may not republish, upload, translate, distribute, sell, license, scrape, or present the pattern text, charts, downloads, photographs, or illustrations as your own. Linking to the original public page is welcome. Contact us before using site content in a class, publication, commercial pattern collection, automated dataset, or other reuse not clearly permitted on the relevant page.

Permissions concerning finished handmade items may be stated on the individual pattern. When a page does not state a commercial permission, contact us before selling items made from that pattern. Site logos and the Amigurumi Magic name may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, overwhelm forms or servers, harvest personal information, impersonate another person, or use automated systems in a way that violates published instructions or applicable law.

Contact-form submissions

Messages must be lawful and relevant. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, infringing, abusive, or deceptive material. Sending an idea or suggestion does not create a confidential, employment, partnership, or compensation relationship. We may use correction and accessibility feedback to improve the site while handling personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Safety and finished projects

You are responsible for material selection, construction quality, secure assembly, labeling, supervision, and compliance with rules that apply where a finished item is used, gifted, donated, or sold. Small parts, safety eyes, buttons, wires, batteries, keychain hardware, loose fibers, and long cords may create hazards. Use age-appropriate materials, inspect seams and attachments, and supervise children and animals. A handmade crochet project is not represented as safety-certified unless a page expressly states otherwise.

Advertising, affiliate links, and sponsorships

The site may display third-party advertisements or, in the future, use affiliate links. Advertising does not mean that Amigurumi Magic endorses every advertised product or claim. Commercial relationships will be disclosed as described in the Affiliate Disclosure. Privacy choices relating to advertising are described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Third-party websites and products

Links may lead to retailers, social platforms, publications, or other websites that we do not control. Product descriptions, availability, prices, shipping, warranties, and external content can change. Review the seller’s current information and policies before relying on or purchasing through an external site.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted access or guarantee that every instruction, link, measurement, product statement, or page will always be complete, current, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amigurumi Magic and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the site, external links, materials, or finished projects. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent allowed by applicable law. You remain responsible for your materials, decisions, and finished-item safety.

Changes, availability, and enforcement

We may correct, update, remove, or reorganize content and may restrict access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or misuse prevention. Failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms when site features, business practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when a revised version is published. Continued use after publication means the revised Terms apply to later use, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
